I'm Selin Oztuncman, a freelance journalist and writer with a BA Journalism degree from Goldsmiths University of London. I am based in London and Istanbul.

I try to capture thought-provoking stories important in understanding the current socio-political context. My work is focused mainly on storytelling, feature and day-to-day news writing, occasionally enriched with photojournalism. I like writing about the concept of conflict in social, cultural, economic and political fields. 

 

My dual-city life keeps me attuned to both Turkish and British news agendas, as well as their political landscapes.
